About Zoom
Zoom is a video-meeting service with its own status page. Joining from a browser and joining from the app use different paths. One frozen meeting is often the host's computer or a full room, not a Zoom outage.
A fault at home, or a wider problem?
If you cannot reach zoom.us at all, check the status page and report it. If the site loads and a single meeting will not connect, try the browser join link before reporting an outage.
The connection box on this page only checks the path from your browser to this server. It does not log into Zoom and it does not claim to probe their network. When you want a number for your own line, use the internet speed test.
How the status on this page is calculated
10 reports in 15 minutes, or 20 in an hour, is shown as user reports of an outage. 4 in 15 minutes, or 8 in an hour, is shown as possible problems. Anything less is "a few reports". Zero reports is not a promise that the service is working. There is no invented baseline. Notes are shown as written, after control characters are removed. They are not checked against Zoom.

Questions
Is Zoom down right now?
This page does not start with an answer. The status line is computed only from problems visitors report here over the last 24 hours. No reports means this site has not heard anything, which is not the same as Zoom confirming that the service is up. The company's own page is https://www.zoomstatus.com/.
How many reports count as an Zoom outage?

What if only my Zoom connection is affected?
If you cannot reach zoom.us at all, check the status page and report it. If the site loads and a single meeting will not connect, try the browser join link before reporting an outage. A speed test on this site measures the line from your device. A failed test on one network, with another network still working, points at that line or at Wi-Fi rather than at every Zoom customer.
